Who is the Monkey In My Chair program for?

                Children undergoing treatment for cancer. The program is designed for children ages 3-11. Children older or younger can apply for special consideration.

What if my child is not in treatment but is still missing school?

                If your child is still receiving follow up treatment and regular visits to the hospital/doctor, you can still request a kit. As long as the child has been in active treatment within the last 2 years.

How do I know if my request was approved?

                All requests submitted will receive notification of approval or denial. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please contact us at monkey@lovechloe.org

Why was my request denied?

                Typically if a request is denied it is because the child is not being treated for cancer. We try our best to verify each request. You can reach out to monkey@lovechloe.org to inquire further on why the request was not approved.

Can I get a rush on the delivery of my kit?

                If you have a special circumstance and need the kit shipping expedited, please reach out to monkey@lovechloe.org. Please be sure to fill out the request form first and make a note in the comments when you need the package.

Can I get a kit for a child that does not have cancer?

                Yes, you will need to purchase the kit though. We are happy to send a kit to a child missing school for other illnesses but due to limited funding, we ask that you purchase the kit for them here.

Can I get a kit if I live outside of the United States?

                We have partnerships in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland. Please reach out if you live in one of these countries, please reach out to learn how to request your kit. monkey@lovechloe.org

How do I know if my Monkey In My Chair kit has shipped?

                You should receive an email with tracking information when the kit ships.

How do I access my monkey message account?

                We need to have the parent and teacher emails in order to create the account. If you submitted your request or registration without the teacher email, you will need to get us that email before we can create the account. If you submitted both emails and still don’t have an account, please contact us at monkey@lovechloe.org

                Please allow 5-7 days for us to create the account once you have submitted your request or registration.

We have our Monkey Message account but we have a new teacher. How do we get a new account for the new classroom?

                Please email us at monkey@lovechloe.org with the new teacher’s name and email and we will get that set up for you.
